If you’ve been following us for a while, you may have heard about or even tried one of our Celluma light machines.

These multi -tasking, hard working devices deliver LED/Low level light therapy and have full clearance from the FDA for safety and efficacy, backed by numerous clinic studies.

So, what is Celluma good for you ask?

Where do we begin!?

• Acne
• Wrinkles
• Arthritic Pain
• Muscle pain
• Joint paint
• Muscle and Joint Stiffness/tension/spasm
• Increases Microcirculation
• Reduces inflammation/swelling

So, how does Celluma work?

Light is absorbed by the body’s cells like plant photosynthesis. The cells’ mitochondria absorb light energy (photons) and turns it into energy. Cells use this for fuel to power metabolic processes such as making DNA, proteins and enzymes to repair or regenerate cells. This energy activates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin.

The restorative properties of Celluma make it an incredible treatment for after invasive or ablative treatments, as well as a full body session after a deep tissue massage to magnify the therapeutic benefits.

So, what do the different colours of light mean?

With Celluma, wavelength is everything, with different wavelengths tackling different concerns.

Blue – Great for acne and congestion, it penetrates the epidermis and kills acne-causing bacteria
Red – Fights the signs of ageing by penetrating the dermis to stimulate production of collagen and elastin.
Near infrared – for aches and pains. The deepest penetration – stimulates microcirculation, repairs tissue, and reduces inflammation.

Celluma is suitable for almost everyone, so why not add a session under our healing lights to your next visit? Whether you’re having injectables, Ultherapy, Hydrafacial, dermaplaning, massage or even waxing, a Celluma will soothe, heal and rejuvenate while you lie back and relax!
