Plexr Plasma Pen Treatments
Plexr soft surgery (plasma) is a revolutionary, safe and non-surgical way of reducing loose or excess skin, and is often used for effectively treating heavy, or hooded eyelids. Plexr is an innovative treatment that uses plasma energy to ‘evaporate’ unwanted skin cells leaving behind tighter, smoother skin.
Plexr plasma treatment uses a pen-like device to target your chosen area. A tiny arc is formed between the pen tip and your skin, a process occurs where plasma energy is created. This energy creates a tiny spark, which burns away unwanted areas of skin, leaving behind a carbon crust. This then flakes away, leaving you with tightened, smoothed skin.
Plexr plasma pen treatment can be used as a non-surgical alternative to eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) by tightening hooded or sagging eyelids, giving a more open-eyed appearance. The treatment can also be used to remove moles, skin tags, lesions, and other unwanted areas of skin.
All Plexr treatments at Hampton Clinic are carried out by Dr Hill and treatment prices start from at £295.

How Long Before You See ResultsSome lifting is seen immediately but the final result is seen at about 3 months. |
|
Side EffectsMultiple small dots are created in the area treated, over the next day or two these form carbon crusts or scabs. The scabs drop off between day 4 and day 7. It is common to get some swelling around the treated area for a couple of days. Once the scabs have dropped off, the skin underneath will be pink and new, and may take several weeks to return to normal. |
|
Number of TreatmentsFor eyelids, two to three treatments are required to get results equivalent to surgical blepharoplasty. For lesion removal, usually one treatment will be enough. |

|

Lorraine made me feel very comfortable with having my treatment as I was quite nervous. She went through everything very thoroughly before, during and after.
Great clinic in a lovely environment. Lorraine my consultant was very informative and made me feel at ease. I will be returning for treatment next week. Highly recommended.

Before & Afters
Open GalleryFrequently Asked Questions
Is it painful?
It is not a pleasant treatment, the high energy sparks feel hot. The treatment is tolerable with strong anaesthetic cream. Afterwards the area will be scabby and may swell.
Am I suitable?
In some cases, you may have too much excess skin, and the doctor may recommend that you consider surgery. We would not want to treat you if you were pregnant.
How often can I have a treatment?
It is important to fully heal between each treatment session, ideally it is best to allow 2 months. The skin should no longer be red or pink.
Are there any risks?
The biggest concern is pigmentation. When the scabs have dropped off, the skin underneath is pink baby new skin. This is more delicate and will be more sensitive to light. It is essential to wear SPF 30+ for 3 months after the procedure, whatever time of year. You must not pick the scabs which can also risk pigmentation.
