Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are a revolutionary treatment that stimulates natural tissue regeneration and promotes overall skin rejuvenation. Polynucleotide injectables are a groundbreaking aesthetic treatment to help you achieve the youthful, radiant skin you desire. Although they are relatively new to aesthetic medicine, they have been used since the 1950s for wound healing!

Using the power of DNA fragments derived from salmon DNA, polynucleotides work at a cellular level to stimulate collagen synthesis, improve skin elasticity, and promote tissue repair.

Polynucleotides are small molecules that are injected superficially into the skin. This stimulates specific cellular responses, increasing production of collagen and elastin. The injections are typically targeted to specific areas of concern, such as the face, neck, or hands. The number of injections will vary depending on individual concerns and goals.

The benefits of polynuclotides:

  • Collagen production: As we age, the production of collagen slows down, and during menopause the decline is even steeper. Polynucleotides can help reverse this process by triggering collagen production in the skin. The result is smoother, firmer skin with a noticeable reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Tissue repair: Whether you’re dealing with acne scars, sun damage, or other forms of skin imperfections, polynucleotides can assist in accelerating tissue repair. By activating the body’s natural healing mechanisms, this treatment promotes the regeneration of damaged skin cells.
  • Skin hydration: Hydrated skin is beautiful skin! Polynucleotides have the ability to enhance skin hydration by improving the skin’s natural moisture-retaining capabilities. Resulting in a radiant, well-hydrated complexion with a youthful glow.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Polynucleotides have shown anti-inflammatory properties which can help reduce redness, irritation, and swelling in the skin. This may be beneficial for individuals with sensitive or reactive skin conditions.
  • Minimise scarring and stretch marks: Polynucleotides have been shown to be effective in reducing the appearance of scars, including acne scars, as well as stretch marks. By stimulating collagen production and promoting tissue regeneration, these injectables can help smooth out uneven skin texture.
  • Safe and non-invasive: Polynucleotides are a safe and minimally invasive treatment option. The treatment is performed by our experienced medical professionals who will tailor treatment to you, in a safe and comfortable environment.

Number of Treatments

Initially, you will require 3 treatments every 2-3 weeks.

Duration of Results

To maintain results, you should have treatment every 6 months.
