Sarah Smith is an Osteopath and Nutritional Therapist. She has trained extensively with The Institute of Functional Medicine, travelling the US to complete the core modules. She is also a Metabolic Balance Coach, a programme based upon each individual, optimising health and aiding weight loss.

“I believe that the health of each person is individual and therefore the approach should be too. Approaching a disease with a ‘one size fits all’ and a ‘pill-for-an-ill’ simply won’t improve health long-term. We have to look to the root cause of the illness and not simply treat the symptoms”

“Small changes can yield big results. I understand the daily struggle and confusion that people come across. What diet, what food, this is bad for me, this is good for me. It is literally a minefield of understanding what we should eat! Also, each person needs to go at their own pace, not make huge changes all at once. Understanding each person from a mental perspective is as important as understanding their physical issues”

Sarah believes in taking a patient centred approach to health and treating the person and not the disease, specialising in clinically investigating underlying factors and customising health programs for chronic conditions such as thyroid issues, autoimmune, hormonal dysfunctions, digestive disorders, diabetes, heart disease and fibromyalgia.

So many people live with suboptimal health believing that it is the norm. Often improving health can take a few very simple tweaks in their daily diet or health regime and result in 10 fold in benefits to the way they feel.

Sarah offers no obligation 15 minute consultations. Which can be booked directly with Hampton Clinic…
